Most line lamp manufacturers use the way of directly pouring glue on the circuit board to prevent water. In this way, when the colloid is aged or the adhesion with circuit board, aluminum profile and other materials is low, once there is water in the line lamp, it will not only reduce the lighting effect of the lamp, but also penetrate into the circuit board and light source. The electrolytic reaction caused by power on will corrode the light source, resulting in the non illumination of the lamp.
The other is to use the double waterproof method, that is, after using the optical lens to protect the lamp beads, the circuit board is filled with glue for waterproof. This is also the process we have been using. This waterproof LED line lamp not only has better waterproof performance, but also can prevent color temperature drift. In order to prevent ponding inside the lamps, all the line lamps of our company adopt the lamp body of structural water leakage process, which can quickly remove the ponding.
